Unique Programs
Our programs balance social, artistic, and intellectual pursuits. We offer unique programs such as the Empowered Learning Program and the Total Physical Response (TPR) language immersion program. We have expertise in working with Gifted and Talented, ADHD, Learning Disabled and GTLD (Gifted and Talented with Learning Disabilities) students.
We facilitate cultural understanding through our International Culture Center, which operates on the educational philosophy that guided cross-cultural experiences increase awareness and appreciation of other cultures. Students “travel” through books, videos, museum trips, and cultural events. They are given opportunities to meet people from other countries and participate in student exchange programs. The International Cultural Center works with The Prejudice Institute, Inc. of Baltimore to promote multicultural harmony and awareness. Teachers and mentors from a broad spectrum of backgrounds share their cultural experiences with students, providing them with meaningful cultural exchange and enrichment.
