Our programs balance social, artistic, and intellectual pursuits. We offer state of the art educational approaches such as the Empowered Learning Program and the Total Physical Response (TPR) language immersion program. We also have expertise in working with students who are Gifted and Talented, have ADHD, are Learning Disabled or GTLD (Gifted and Talented with Learning Disabilities).
We facilitate cultural understanding through our International Culture Center, which operates on the educational philosophy that guided cross-cultural experience increases awareness and appreciation of other cultures. Students “travel” through books, videos, museum trips, and cultural events. They are given opportunities to meet people from other countries and participate in student exchange programs. The International Cultural Center works with The Prejudice Institute, Inc. of Baltimore to promote multicultural harmony and awareness. Teachers and mentors from a broad spectrum of backgrounds enrich students by sharing their experiences.
