it on this page: NEW JAPANESE CLASS HAPPENING NOW! The Enrichment Centers' Japanese language program focuses on both written and spoken Japanese. Qualified instructors emphasize immediate and total immersion in the language and culture. Using visual stimuli, gestures, and role-playing, instructors create a lively and encouraging classroom environment that enhances the learning process. Mari Takano Graham is teaching all of our students of Japanese in one-on-one tutoring sessions and in small classes. The ages of our students range from 3 to 40, but ANIME seems to bring adolescents from 12 to 16 in droves. Thanks to this popular phenomenon, we have an ANIME-focused class for motivated adolescents. Currently our classes are in Maryland, specifically in Kensington, Glen Burnie, and Wheaton. We'll have a class in Potomac by the end of the summer. Please let us know (make this a link to email us) if you would like to join an existing class or start one of your own. The classes take place on weekday evenings and on Saturdays. Everyone loves Mari. She is terrific!

our brochure for more information For our summer programs, classes are offered at all locations! Please contact us to indicate which weeks like would like and your flexibility in which sites are convenient for you. In this way we can organize programs that will best suite each individual child’s needs. Our Japanese Immersion Program is a Summer Customized Language Program. More information about types of summer programs can be found here. Mari Takano-Graham is going to be teaching with us all summer long. She is an older woman who is absolutely fabulous and has been doing all of our Japanese tutoring from ages 3-35. Throughout Maryland and D.C. she is our busiest tutor. She just returned from Japan where she bought a number of materials for the summer program and we are now taking reservations for her classes. The regular prices for our immersion program is $335 a week, but the price for the program that she teaches is $495 a week. Our classes are small and fill up quickly, so don’t get left behind! Japanese Immersion classes are available at all of our sites this summer between 9am and 3pm, with extended hours available. This fall, we will have Japanese classes available in the evenings for all ages - please contact us for more information! We hope to see many of you at our centers this summer! Mari is eager to teach if we have enough children to participate. So please let us know as soon as you can if this is a possibility!
