Our Method

Our summer and after-school language classes and tutoring programs offer unique opportunities for the experiential learning of language and culture. We emphasize not only the language itself, but also the diversity of cultures. Students learn about traditional dress, music, art and cuisine, and the basics of the spoken and written language of their choice.

There are no age restrictions or skill level requirements for the language classes at The Enrichment Centers. Children pick up new languages almost effortlessly, and through our immersion programs we can include children as young as three years old. We offer unique classes for adults as well. Whether you want to begin a brand new language or brush up on a familiar one, we can help you develop your particular skills and talents.

Language Method

Total Physical Response (TPR) is our principal method of language instruction for both individuals and groups. TPR is the world’s premier language method for several reasons:

• Is scientifically based!
TPR’s greatest strength is its integration of all five senses and every part of the body in order to assist the brain in memorization. With TPR, the right side of the brain’s factual processing (such as language learning) combines with the left-brain functions of movement, exercise, and creativity.
